Good friends of mine held a fantastic party on the weekend. It was Phil’s 30th and his lovely wife Jo did an amazing job of organising the perfect party – Jukebox – TICK! Great homemade finger food – TICK! Jelly Shots – TICK!!
There were many highlights, one being “porky pig” – the suckling pig on a spit. I did feel a little sorry for Porky at first, I’m not used to seeing my food with a face. The roast pork and gravy rolls were so tasty and the crackle was perfect. Good job Phil! They purchased Porky from Torre Butchers (in Northbridge), it was excellent quality.
Also, the man-cakes, were delish. Kustom Cupcakes (a personal fave of mine) made some man-style cupcakes. Rich chocolate cupcakes, with heavenly icing and topped with a rum bottle pic. Well done guys, great night x
